Footwork not detaching footnotes

For some reason, I cannot manage to detach the footnotes. The progress bar starts and then closes and nothing happens. I have sent you the packaged files and here is a video explaining the issue: https://app.screencast.com/dArUdcMAJq60C?tab=Details

My filter is blocking the video, it will take a while to see it.
I tried detaching on your file, with default settings, and it worked fine for me.
What detach settings are you using? Can you post a screenshot?

and when I run it, it does this and then closes the progress bar and nothing has happened.

Ok, when I try to "detach as endnotes" I'm also getting the same behaviour you're seeing.
Detaching not as endnotes works, though.
It's strange, because there's no crash, the detach routine simply quits in the middle. A bit tricky to debug. I'll see what I can do.

oh dear, I have a deadline! I guess I will have to lay this chapter out manually. Oy.

Perhaps don't use endnotes for this chapter, and once I've got a fix, reattach and re-detach the notes to create endnotes?

hmm... I am deleting text to see what is causing the crash, if that doesn’t work, then I will revert.

found the issue: An empty footnote! Footnote 203!

yes, as soon as I fixed the text, the script worked.

I've uploaded version 3.1.2 which fixes this bug (convert to endnotes crashes if a footnote is empty), I believe... (available on the My Account page).
