Duplicate Format Listed ".JPEG.jpg"

When extracting JPGs formats only, the .jpg is included in file name twice. This doesn't occur in pngs and pdfs.
I confirmed there is nothing extra included in the file naming or in character styles used prior to extracting. Any ideas?

When I try to extract JPEGs, I'm getting the expected file naming:

I would note that in your screenshot, I'm seeing both jpeg and jpg (different spellings), but I'm not quite sure why that would be.
Could you post a screenshot of your ExtractPages settings? That might help.

Hmm, I'm not seeing anything there.
Is that the entire text in the "Custom" field, or is there some more to the right? If there is could you copy/paste the entire contents of the field here?

That's correct. I suspected that as well - this is the entirety of the copy in that custom field:
PJs_Fall _ <c: Category> _ <c: Pixel Size>

Also, I've confirmed the copy used in the character styles/what they're applied to do not have the additional "jpeg" typed out.

What version of Extract Pages are you using?
And what operating system are you using?
In any case, I think to check out what's going on I'll need you to email me the file, if possible. It's not entirely clear to me what's happening here.

Thanks for the file.
I tested it with the latest version of InDesign, and with Sequoia 15.6.1 (I don't have Ventura to test with), and I'm not managing to duplicate the issue. The jpeg extension is appearing a single time only for me for all jpg's created.
The thing is, Extract Pages uses the jpeg extensions (with an 'e'). And you're seeing an extra jpg extension (without the 'e'). So that makes me wonder whether some other application is adding these extensions.
In Finder > Settings > Advanced, do you have "Show all filename extensions" checked or unchecked?
